Hot Summer Day

Tank top: Brandy Melville / Bralette: Aerie (s/o) / Shorts: American Eagle / Necklace: Stradivarius / Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (s/o)

While making some changes on my blog the other day,
I accidentally deleted some old outfit posts...
I realized how long it had been since I last posted an outfit...
So here's a new one! Hopefully you guys will like it!

On this beautiful hot summer day, I decided to wear one of my favourite outfit during summer: white tank top, bralette and ripped shorts. I am not much of an accessories kind of girl, but I love this necklace. I find that it makes any simple outfit a little bit more special.
My favourite bag this summer has been this Rebecca Minkoff bag! I love the colour
and it's the perfect size!

Update: I spoke too fast because we just had a huge thunderstorm in Montreal...

Festival Season

It's almost time for the festival season to kick off. Every year, I look closely to festival fashion. This year, I think fringe, suede, bralettes, bandana, flare jeans and fedoras will be the biggest trends. I am particularly excited for Coachella (even though I am not attending) as it is one of the first music festival of the season and the fashion is always on point. Here are some key pieces to wear at a music festival:
And here are some ideas on how to style them:

Apartment Inspiration

As a matter of few weeks, I will be getting my own apartment. I could not be more excited and terrified at the same time. It will be my first time living on my own and I will need to face a lot of new responsibilities. At the same time, I am extremely excited as it means more freedom! Also, I am thrilled to be able to decorate it exactly how I want it! In the past few months, I have been searching online for some inspiration. Here are my main inspiration for my new apartment:
For my own room, I think I'll stick to shades of black, grey and white, but for the rest of the apartment, I think it will look great if I stick to light natural wood, white and some plants.
When I'll be done decorating, expect a tour hihi xx Charlie

Paris Fashion Week AW15 Recap

PFW is always one of my favourite fashion week! This season, I was very excited to see the Saint-Laurent, Isabel Marrant, Elie Saab, Balenciaga, Chloe, Valentino and Givenchy shows and was not disappointed  I was amazed my all the gorgeous creations that were presented by some of the most talented designer of our time! Here are my favourite looks from my favourite shows (in no particular order):

Roland Moulet
The patterns used in the collection are beyond amazing! I loves the mesh details
 present in most looks.

I absolutely love the pattern used for the coats! I loved the whole collection.

Anthony Vaccarello
I was completely blown away by this collection! I loved the skirts the most from the collection.

I loved the neutral colours and the mix of different patterns exploited in the collection.

Barbara Bui
The coats presented impressed me by their elegance, simplicity and uniqueness.

Nina Ricci
The elegance of the collection amazed me. I was highly amazed by the coats presented.

Stella McCartney
The second dress from the right completely amazed me!

Zadig & Voltaire
The rocker chic vibe from the show amazed me and left me wanting to see more! I was highly impressed by the looks presented!

The elegance and the edginess of the creations reminded me why I love Givenchy as mush as I do!
The simplicity, yet edginess of the creations blew me away!

My absolute favourite show of the week (and probably of the whole season) were the following:

Isabel Marant
Isabel Marant is probably one of my all time favourite designer and her creations for AW15 did not disappoint me. I loved the patterns of the designs. In my opinion, every look was perfect from head to toe.

Saint Laurent
Saint Laurent always amazes me, but this has got to be one of my favourite collection of all time! I was blown away by every single creation (and quite frankly it was very hard to choose my favourite looks). The leather skirts, leather pants and ripped tights worked out very well for the rocker chic style of the show.

The Chloe show was beyond amazing from the first look to the last one. Maxi dresses were very present in the show. I loved the boho style of the show. My favourite piece is probably the coat of the first look from the bottom left.

Elie Saab
Elie Saab always presents the most beautiful gown during fashion week. I was extremely excited to see his creation and was very impressed. As always he presented the most elegant dresses. I loved every single of his creation.

Valentino was one of the most amazing show! I loved the elegant dresses. The details on the dresses were unbelievable. I absolutely loved the coats present in the show. Once again, the details were shockingly amazing.

This puts an end to the wonderful fashion month! xx Charlie
